Program

We tried to fit in a short period of time a large number of studies that and help you to enhance your career!

If you consider doing full-time 1-year MBA – during the Mini-MBA course,  you have the chance to visit universities in Amsterdam and learn about their full-time MBA, scholarship programs (for example, one of the universities we usually visit – Nyenrode University).

All participants receive a certificate at the end of the course.

What is this mini-MBA program about?

Mini-MBA is a super booster for your career! You get the knowledge and skills that help you to advance your career and develop it worldwide!

You build the network with people who can help you with your career! Moreover, you learn how to network! It is not a secret that the networking process in different countries is happening in different ways – you learn what are the effective ways for networking in the Netherlands! You will go to various networking events in Amsterdam where you can meet people working in different business areas!

You visit the companies and see how the actual international business is done. You will meet people who have strong experience in business and who will share with you the information about their companies.

You will acquire the knowledge and experience that will greatly contribute to your personal development!

Being aware of your strong sides you will be able to understand better what are the ways of working that can deliver the best result for you.

If you already have your start-up or considering to start one – the course will help you to get the knowledge and skills needed for the development of your own business. You will learn about leaning start-up, writing a business plan and how to determine the business model for your future business. And of course – we share with you some information on where to look for funding for your future business if you think about business in the Netherlands.

You will be given the consultation on your career. You will learn about the specifics of the development of your career in Europe, particularly – in the Netherlands. You learn how to approach the Dutch labour market. We share with you tips&tricks while writing a CV and cover letter for applying for the jobs in the Netherlands. If you are certain about the development of your career and inform us about your choice before the arrival to the Netherlands – we might be able to arrange for you a meeting with the recruiter from your chosen field.

During the program, there are some…weekends! What can you do? You can work on own project and study - that is always a good option! You can walk around Amsterdam, meet new people and surely you won’t be bored and find enough things to do and see during all your weekends! And of course, you can travel around!

Where can you travel from Amsterdam? - Well… where to begin - there are too many options!

Travelling within the Netherlands:

  • The Hague – 50 min by train and you are in the center of the Hague – one of the international capitals of UN-institutions and other international organizations. Here you can visit the beach – amazingly beautiful and sandy! You can also visit various international organizations – International Court of Justice, International Criminal Court, International Organization for Migration and many more!
  • Rotterdam – one hour by train and you are here – in the second largest city of the Netherlands and one of the most beautiful examples of modern architecture – Rotterdam! You will see modern buildings combined with the Dutch style, international city with a unique flavour! You will definitely enjoy the day in Rotterdam!
  • University cities Leiden and Utrecht – popular small towns which look and feel like Amsterdam.

... and many other places in the Netherlands could be a great plan for a day on the weekend!

Travelling to other countries during the weekends:

  • Belgium – 3-4 hours by bus and you are in Brussels! And do not forget about the lovely cities of Bruges, Antwerp or Leuven.
  • Germany – take a train and within 2-4 hours you are in Dusseldorf, Cologne or Hamburg.
  • France? - Yep! The super-quick train will take you from Amsterdam to Paris in 3 hours and 17 min (it is quite cheap if book in advance)

Travelling at weekends is not included in the course price.

We offer mini-trips with sightseeing to nearby countries after the course. Travelling is offered for an additional fee and includes tickets and one night stay. Click here to learn more. Please let us know in your application form if you are interested.

Accommodation and Meals

All the participants are provided with accommodation in Amsterdam for the whole period of the course. The type of accommodation is a shared room for 2 people. The accommodation in a single room can be arranged for an additional fee – please see the additional services section. Participants have access to the kitchen which they can use. The accommodation is well connected by public transport with all the tourist places in Amsterdam. During the program, the trainings will be conducted in the classroom which is within walking distance from the accommodation. Participants will be provided with a detailed description of the venue and information on how to reach it from the airport.

We offer comfortable accommodation where you can stay during the program and fully enjoy your time in Amsterdam!

Accommodation is provided for the dates of the program. If you arrive 1-2 days earlier or leave later – extra nights can be provided for an additional fee. Please email us in advance to ask about availability.

Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee-breaks) are included in the price – please see the price section.

Tickets to and from The Netherlands are not included in the price.

  • Transfer from/to the airport (one-way): € 50

Visa

If you want to travel to the Netherlands you might need a visa.  Here you could determine whether you need a visa. Please tick “90 days or less” in the first question. Or just send us an email and we will advise you.

Usually, visa type required to attend our courses: Short-term business visa. But it would be better to make a double check at you local Consulate / VFS Center. We provide a standard visa invitation letter for our applicants after the receipt of a guarantee deposit from the applicant.

Step 1

Please go to your local Consulate / VFS website and make an appointment. Sometimes you can make an appointment only  1-2 months in advance. We recommend doing that as soon as possible and then proceed to Step 2.

Step 2

Please learn more about the list of all the required documents (usually, those documents are listed on the website of your local Consulate / VFS. This list also includes visa invitation letter that we send. Usually, we send a visa invitation letter within 1-3 days after receiving the required pre-payment from the applicant.

Step 3

With the full list of documents and completed visa application form, you have to go to the local Consulate/VFS on the appointment day and submit them. The fee for the visa might differ depending on the country where you apply. VFS might also apply an extra charge for their services.

We strongly recommend to check all the documents before the submission and make sure you provide the correct information to the Consulate and in that case you most probably will receive a visa without any difficulties.
