This workshop is for busy people who have little time to improve their English proficiency.
This is not a regular English language course, but an intensive workshop for those who already can speak English but would like to enhance their skills both for professional and personal life. The focus is made on speaking and writing business skills.
Having great communication skills in English is a perfect way to leave a great impression on colleagues and partners. Candidates with better English certainly stand out against others at job interviews. During the workshop, you will learn and practice business correspondence and negotiations in English. Communication is often the hardest part of any language. Speaking and writing are perhaps the hardest parts of English. It is a core part of our educational philosophy that everyone requires individual attention in order to improve. Moreover, different people make different mistakes at different times and therefore need to be catered to as individuals. This workshop is aimed at small groups, where each member can receive personal attention from a tutor and get personalized feedback and recommendations.
The participants are expected to arrive on Sunday. There will be no activities planned on that day, so if you arrive early in the morning you can plan your day!
Participants are tested and divided into small groups according to their levels. From Monday to Thursday there are sessions. The sessions will be quite intense, we recommend not to miss any of them and attend all the sessions. Friday is the departure day (no activities).
At the beginning of the program, a tutor asks participants what are the topics they would like to focus on, what are the fields where they have difficulties, what are issues they would like to address. The tutor slightly adjusts the program in order to address all these points. Some questions will be addressed during the sessions (they might be interesting for other participants as well) and others can be addressed individually.
The workshop is conducted by a native speaker in small groups to make sure everyone will be involved in the learning process.
We recommend having at least B1-B2 of English level before joining the workshop in order to be able to receive all the benefits from the participation.

Grammar
A tutor will introduce some grammar rules which are often neglected and cause common mistakes.
Common Mistakes
Discussion on some common mistakes in communication in English which are often made by non-English speakers. Tutor will provide the recommendations on how to avoid them.
Professional Communication
Learn the rules for professional communication – oral and written. The tutor will teach participants how to build a speech in a professional environment.
Argumentation
Theory and practice on how to build the arguments in order to have your voice heard in a professional discussion.
Teamwork in English
Teamwork is very important in international organizations. The lack of teamwork skills in English might lead to complications at work. The participants will learn how to develop their skills of teamwork in English.
CV, & Motivation letter
Learn how to write a remarkable CV and motivation letter using professional English.
Job Interview
How to go through job interviews in English? Reveal key tips and practise!
Writing Emails
Writing an email is one of the key skills of any job! The participants will learn how to write professional emails and how to avoid common mistakes.
Professional English
Explore professional English language, give examples of some useful phrases and expressions.
Individual Feedbacks
During the program, the attention will be paid to each participant. The tutor will identify your individual skills that could be improved and give relevant feedback. You will receive individual recommendations.
Travelling after the course
We offer mini-trips with sightseeing to nearby countries after the course. Travelling is offered for an additional fee and includes tickets and one night stay. Click here to learn more. Please let us know in your application form if you are interested.
All the participants are provided with accommodation in Amsterdam for the whole period of the course. The type of accommodation is a shared room for 2 people. The accommodation in a single room can be arranged for an additional fee – please see the additional services section. Participants have access to the kitchen which they can use. The accommodation is well-connected by public transport with all the tourist places in Amsterdam. During the program, sessions will be conducted in the classroom which is within walking distance from the accommodation. Participants will be provided with a detailed description of the venue and information on how to reach it from the airport.
We offer comfortable accommodation where you can stay during the program and fully enjoy your time in Amsterdam!
Accommodation is provided for the dates of the program. If you arrive 1–2 days earlier or leave later – extra nights can be provided for an additional fee. Please email us in advance to ask about availability.

Prices for Additional Services
If you want to travel to the Netherlands, you might need a visa. Here you could determine whether you require a visa. Please tick “90 days or less” in the first question. Or just email us and we will advise you.

When you apply to our programs and provide mandatory pre-payment, we provide you with a visa assistance: an official visa invitation letter which is necessary for applying for a visa. Also, we will guide you on the visa process and consult you regarding the documents that you need to prepare for the successful visa application. We will be happy to look through the package of the documents that you will prepare for the visa application, analyze it and help you to prepare all the documents correctly. Usually, visa type required to attend our courses: Short-term business visa. But it would be better to make a double check at your local Consulate / VFS Center.
Step 1
Please go to your local Consulate / VFS website and make an appointment. Sometimes you can make an appointment only 1-2 months in advance. We recommend doing that as soon as possible and then proceed to Step 2.
Step 2
Please learn more about the list of all the required documents (usually, those documents are listed on the website of your local Consulate / VFS. This list also includes visa invitation letter that we send. Usually, we send a visa invitation letter within 1-3 days after receiving the required pre-payment from the applicant.
Step 3
With the full list of documents and completed visa application form, you have to go to the local Consulate/VFS on the appointment day and submit them. The fee for the visa might differ depending on the country where you apply. VFS might also apply an extra charge for their services.
We strongly recommend to check all the documents before the submission and make sure you provide the correct information to the Consulate and in that case, you most probably will receive a visa without any difficulties.
